THE SEPTEMBER SCATTER 2007
SCATTER ROVING REPORTER'S ARTICLE
The second round of the
2007 Quinton Challenge got under way on Tuesday 11th September 2007
from the Rugby Club as light was fading.
The event was geared to
start at 8.00pm with a signing on time 15 minutes before and a return time of no
later than 10.00pm.
At 7.45pm, there
were already three crews ready to sign on, as the minutes ticked by more & more
crews arrived. Lots of new faces, at least to me anyway, queuing to sign on.
This was a great turn out I thought, never had this number before whilst I had
been running the Quinton Challenge, so I was quite pleased

THE APRIL
SHOWERS SCATTER 2007
SCATTER ROVING REPORTER'S ARTICLE
The first round of the 2007 Quinton
Challenge got under way on Tuesday 10th April from the Rugby Club.
Only three crews turned up to tackle this event, to whom I am grateful. I assume
the lack of competitors was possibly due to members away on holiday or injured
arms, Ray. First away were Hilary and Paul Maxwell closely followed by Ian Rix
and his faithful servant Baldrick or less commonly known as Derrick Ramsdall.
The final crew to leave were the ever faithful dynamic duo, Doreen & John Davis,
who sometimes end up on the brink of a divorce after one of my events.
The event was only a small affair
lasting about two hours although one crew needed a few extra minutes to find
their way back, nameless of course.
